Management Accountant

Overview

Our prestigious and long-established manufacturing client, located just Dudley, is seeking a Management Accountant to support its boutique finance team in preparing account packs for senior directors. This organisation offers the successful candidate exceptional long-term career progression.

This is a broad and varied role, providing exposure across multiple facets. You'll be responsible for compiling commercial reports and managing weekly, monthly, and quarterly packs that deliver key insights to senior management, covering areas such as revenue, margin, and KPI performance. You'll work closely with the commercial finance team to ensure robust forecasting and budgeting, while collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders to help safeguard cashflow.

Skills Required

• Ideally studying toward the final stages of CIMA/ACCA, or Qualified by Experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or a solid understanding of WIP and BOM reporting is preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including those without a finance background.
