Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join our clients finance team in Wigan. Reporting to the Financial Controller the role will offer great experience to join a highly qualified finance team with a focus on staff development and inclusion.

Key responsibilities Management Accountant

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts to a strict deadline
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce and post journals
• Assist with maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Variance reporting
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Ad Hoc duties

What you will need

• Able to act in a professional manner and always maintain confidentiality
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience and will be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience.
• UK work experience within Management Accounts
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong Excel skills (e.g. SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy
