Job Description - Management Accountant

Are you an ACCA/CIMA/Qualified by experience Management Accountant keen on a new opportunity? Do you have a proven track record in a similar broad and fast-paced Management Accountant/Finance Manager role? Would you like to work for a rapidly scaling and high performing finance function?

The Role:

We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a fast-growth and highly profitable business based in Northamptonshire on the hire of a Management Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of preparing monthly financial results across various international locations and departments.
Produce detailed cost analysis reports comparing departmental spend against budget and previous year figures, for review and presentation purposes.
Support the finance leadership team in compiling the annual budget and carrying out related financial analysis.
Assist senior finance colleagues in the effective coordination and completion of the year-end audit process.
Manage the accurate preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax compliance reports across relevant jurisdictions.
Compile and present weekly cash flow forecasts for senior finance leadership review.
Monitor foreign currency balances and manage forward currency contracts through designated platforms.
Set up and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliation files for review by finance management.
Take responsibility for completing and maintaining the intercompany reconciliation matrix.
Collaborate with finance colleagues to maintain and improve process effectiveness and control.
Contribute to ongoing development within the finance team, including process improvements and staff training initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

ACCA/CIMA qualified – would consider strong QBE/Finalist options too
Proven track record in a similar well-rounded, broad Finance Manager or Management Accountant role.
Aptitude to thrive in a very fast-paced business which is scaling at a rapid rate.
