Management Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant that thrives in a fast paced, production-led manufacturing/FMCG environment?

This newly created position would suit a commercially astute, technically strong management accountant that is able to work closely with both finance and non finance colleagues and have strong communication and relationship building skills.

This is a varied and hands-on role with real opportunity for progression as the group continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, cash flow reporting and balance sheet recs & control
• Support with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Business partner with non-finance department heads
• Oversee AP and AR and be hands on
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliations
• Intercompany accounting - reconciliation and reporting
• VAT returns
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to the CFO and CEO

Skills & Experience Required

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or strong QBE
• Proven experience in a Management Accounting role, preferably within manufacturing/FMCG
• Knowledge of Sage 50 and strong MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
