Management Accountant

We are currently working on behalf of a well-established and growing client in the property sector who is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or someone qualified by experience to take on a varied and rewarding role, working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

The Role:

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely management accounts, supporting audit and tax processes, and partnering with project and site teams to ensure financial clarity across multiple projects. You’ll manage a portfolio of property accounts and contribute to the day-to-day and strategic financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts

• Business partnering with Project Managers and Site Management teams

• Managing a portfolio of property accounts

• Providing financial analysis for audit and tax purposes

• Inputting transactions into the property accounting system

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns

• Performing daily bank reconciliations

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and analysis

• Supporting with year-end accounts preparation

• Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

What We are Looking For:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience

• Experience in preparing and posting month-end journals

• Strong background in financial reconciliations

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong organisational and time management skills
