Management Accountant

Management Accountant sought for a construction sector business in Harrogate.

The Management Accountant will maintain accurate records using sage 50 for a profitable and growing owner managed business.

This Management Accountant role could suit a qualified or qualified by experience accountant looking for a full-time office-based role local to Harrogate.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet
• Monitor job-level costs and margins across projects and contracts
• Post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including WIP and deferred income
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyse cost variances and provide commentary to senior management

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
