Management Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced management accountant, ideally with manufacturing experience to join a dynamic finance team based in East Kent. This role focuses on optimising the financial aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities as Management Accountant:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights.
• Monitor and manage supply chain costs, identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain robust internal controls.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align financial objectives.
• Support internal and external audits, as well as month-end close processes.

About You:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (Studier) – CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
• Experience in accounting/finance, preferably from within a FMCG, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel for financial analysis.
• Ability to handle large datasets and drive process improvements.
