Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant to play a key role in the FP&A team, acting as a strategic finance business partner to regional operations. This is more than month-end reporting - you'll be helping shape decisions and drive commercial results across a portfolio of contracts.

A well-established, forward-thinking service organisation with operations across the UK and Europe. Based out of modern Central Services offices in Coventry, the team drives operational excellence across contracts and functions, with finance at the heart of decision-making.

Description

• Produce and explain monthly management accounts and KPIs
• Partner with regional managers to set budgets and forecasts
• Analyse variances and challenge assumptions to improve performance
• Support investment appraisals and new business proposals
• Drive improvements in working capital and cash flow control
• Own and optimise Order to Cash processes
• Collaborate with FP&A, sales, and accounting teams
• Present findings to senior leadership and UK Board when required
• Regularly visit operational sites (1-2 days/week) to build trust and insight

Profile

• Proven experience in management accounting
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organised
• Commercial mindset and confident communicator
• Resilient, proactive, and solution-focused
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Ideally part-qualified or studying (CIMA/ACCA)
• Previous experience in a multi-site or service-based business a bonus
