Job Description - Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Leeds | Up to £50,000

Axon Moore is exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant for a thriving, tech-driven business experiencing significant organic and acquisition-led growth. If you're commercially savvy, detail-driven, and eager to make an impact — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver monthly management accounts for a key division
Lead and mentor a small finance team
Analyse P&L, manage accruals/prepayments, and perform variance analysis
Partner with department heads to control and challenge spend
Drive improved forecasting, cost reporting, and insight
Maintain balance sheet controls and submit VAT returns

What We’re Looking For:

Part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
2+ years' experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Analyst role
Strong technical accounting skills and commercial acumen
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management
Adaptable, proactive, and detail-focused
Experience with cost centre or multi-site reporting is a bonus
