The Opportunity:
An established business operating in the supply chain and distribution sector is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to step into a varied and impactful role supporting operational and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse weekly profit and loss statements to track financial performance

• Deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis and insightful commentary

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

• Conduct cost reviews, margin tracking, and financial performance analysis

• Provide financial insight to support cross-functional teams and leadership

• Continuously improve reporting tools, internal controls, and financial procedures

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial functions

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or working towards qualification

• Prior experience in a management accounting or similar finance role

• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with knowledge of financial systems

• High attention to detail and a strong grasp of commercial drivers

• Excellent communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach
