Salary: circa £45k

Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a Management Accountant for a high growth and successful business who strives to be industry leaders. As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the finance leadership team.

The role of the Management Accountant

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete
• Manage general ledger and deliver accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Own and manage the statutory accounts process
• Responsible for performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings and audits
• Responsible for cash reconciliations, cashflow, interest payments
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Deputise for the Financial Controller, as required

The ideal candidate for the role of Management Accountant

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (part qualified will also be considered)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software
• Experience in statutory accounts processes and execution
