Management Accountant

As an Assistant Management Accountant you will provide daily support to the Management Accountant and will support with preparing the monthly management accounts, pre payments and accruals and cash flow forecasting.

My client are a family run electrical organisation based in Blaydon. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis.

Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and year-end audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic decision-making across the property portfolio.
• Manage cash flow reporting and ensure effective financial planning.
• Respond to ad hoc financial queries and produce detailed reports as needed.

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• An accountancy/finance related qualification or actively studying towards one
• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An understanding of financial reporting requirements within the property industry.
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

Job Offer
