I am recruiting an exciting Management Accountant opportunity suited to an Assistant Management Accountant who is looking to progress and take ownership of the management accounts. This permanent position requires a proactive approach to managing budgets and preparing accurate financial statements.

Description

The Management Accountant's duties will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and financial systems.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast and manage expenditures.
• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards and practices.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should:

• Have proven experience working in a relevant finance role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-financial stakeholders.
