Location: Lymm
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum (depends on experience)
Full-time, Permanent

Adele Carr Recruitment is excited to be working with a progressive business in Lymm that's investing in its future-and its people. They're looking for a Management Accountant to join their expanding team, reporting to the Finance Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the business, take ownership of key financial processes, and work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and down-to-earth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Processing and payment of weekly and monthly payroll.
• Collaborating with operational teams to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
• Performing additional finance-related tasks as required.

What we're looking for

• AAT qualified and/or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience.
• Previous management accounts experience
• Ability to work independently and/or collaborating within a small team
• A proactive, team player who has a willingness to embrace change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
