Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum (depends on experience)

Adele Carr Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting a high-growth SME in Runcorn as they search for a driven Management Accountant to join their evolving finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Controller this is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll produce insightful management accounts and contributing to the business's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and WIP reviews.
• Cashflow monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Processing and payment of weekly and monthly payroll.
• Collaborating with operational teams to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
• Performing additional finance-related tasks as required.

What we're looking for

• AAT qualified and/or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
• Proven management accounts experience
• Confident working independently and/or collaborating within a small team
• A proactive, team player who has a willingness to embrace change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
