Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the accounting and finance department within the creative logistics industry. This permanent position is based 5 days a week in Kidlington and focuses on producing accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities for various projects and departments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.
• Reconcile balance sheets and manage accruals and prepayments.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in management accounting within the property industry or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly.
