Senior Management Accountant

This is an award-winning family owned business who have experienced significant growth over the past few years. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. In this role you will support the Head of Finance to create, deliver and continually improve the reporting provided to the Group.

Working as part of a larger team this is a dynamic and growing organisation, you will have a right first time attitude and will need to demonstrate commercial acumen.

You should be a Qualified Accountant with at least ten years of solid and broad management accounting experience. This role could also really suit you if you have worked at a higher level before and are really looking for a broad, exciting and challenging role working closely with senior members of the business.

Your core role will include:

• Production of quarterly management accounts pack (including preparation of individual company P&L & Balance Sheets with variance analysis to budget & forecast)
• Quarterly updates to project appraisals -challenging assumptions using your commercial acumen
• Produce quarterly Project and JV project appraisals for assigned entities with variance analysis to budget & prior forecast.
• Attend meetings with MD and Finance Team each quarter to review and approve Appraisals as suitable to use for preparing forecast
• Supporting the Head of Finance with consolidated accounts process and forecast/budget preparation

Your CV should be able to demonstrate

• Strong technical skills with a proven track record of delivery deadlines in a demanding environment
• Experience in creating and presenting reports to key stakeholders
• Cash and budget management
• If you have experience of supporting IT transformation this could be an advantage

This role is based on the outskirts of Stansted and offers a desirable remuneration package depending on experience. There is hybrid working (after probation with 3 days in the office and 2 at home), Pension, 25 Days Holiday + BH, Private Medical, DIS, EAP, Share Incentive Plan and Bonus.
