Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports to support business planning.
• Analyse variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely data.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes.
• Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies for optimisation.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management.
• Provide support during audits by liaising with external auditors and ensuring records are accurate.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Ideally working towards recognised qualification in accounting or finance or suitably qualified by experience
• Proven experience in management accounting within the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
