The Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of a wide variety of tasks including:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Posting accruals, prepayments, and general ledger entries
• Journals and VAT returns
• Balance sheet and GRNI reconciliations
• Supporting the year-end audit process
• Supplier payments and currency trading
• Bank postings and reconciliations
• Overseeing weekly payroll
• Supervising credit control and finance administration, including holiday cover
• Delivering insightful reporting and analysis
• Supporting the Finance Director and Financial Controller on ad hoc projects
• Driving process improvements and system enhancements

About You

We’re looking for a part qualified Management Accountant with solid experience in a similar role, who has a strong grounding in double-entry bookkeeping, VAT, prepayments, and accruals. You will be highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities, and confident in your communication skills. Most importantly, you’ll have the drive to develop your career within a successful and established organisation.
