Altrad are currently looking for a Management Accountant based at Warrington to join finance team.
Key Deliverables:
* Responsibility to produce timely & accurate production of all management accounts and monthly reporting (local & group) to all agreed formats and timetables.
* Development of SG&A reporting packs
* Delivering SG&A overheads reviews with key business partners & forecasting future outturns
* Budget setting responsibilities
* Analyse financial data to identify and resolve any issues and to explain any variances from budget or forecast, assisting the users of the information to understand what the numbers are representing so that they can use them to make informed and effective business decisions
* Ensure that there are adequate and robust financial controls within the financial systems
* Identify and make recommendations on where system and control improvements can be made
* Ensure that the balance sheet is fully reconciled and reviewed every month end with any issues identified and resolved
* Build strong internal relationships, support cost centre managers and Finance Business Partners
* Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement, document financial processes, and lead ad-hoc projects to enhance reporting efficiency.
* Monthly Group Reporting P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash, Key Working Capital Metrics (adaptive insights/Convergence)
* SG&A reviews & analysis
* Financial forecasting
* Balance sheet reviews
* Intercompany
* Technical support to the Management Accountants
Key requirements / qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualification +1/2 years post qualification
* Ideally some experience of managing a small team, albeit not essential
* Ability to handle wide variety of complex issues
* Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
* Instantly credible with personal and intellectual presence
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Attitudes and abilities that support the group’s core values
* Technical competence, eye for detail, analytical thinking, commercial awareness and client facing
