Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Wolverhampton | Up to £39,000

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We're hiring for a growing finance team based in Wolverhampton, offering the chance to own a broad range of core finance processes and make a real impact on business reporting and compliance.

The Role:

* Bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasting

* Sales ledger management, credit control and customer credit vetting

* Month-end close and quarterly VAT returns

* Preparing management accounts — accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations

* Fixed Asset Register and depreciation

* Cost of sales analysis, WIP review, stock verification and valuation

* Supporting annual budgeting and statistical reporting

* Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports for senior management

* Driving process automation and improvement

What You'll Need:

* AAT qualified (or equivalent) — essential

* Proven experience in an accounts department

* Advanced Excel skills

* Strong communication skills, self-motivated and analytical

* Expert knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping

* Working knowledge of VAT regulations and UK GAAP

Desirable:

* CIMA (newly qualified)

* Manufacturing environment experience

* Sage Line 50 / Payroll experience
