Management Accountant

The role has come about due to the rapid growth of the company, and the finance team alone has more than doubled in size in the last 3 years. There are now 3 companies in the group.

Joining the management team, consisting of the Finance Director, Financial Controller, Management Accountant, and Assistant Management Accountant, you'll gain a wealth of knowledge and experience, giving you the growth and development you need to progress.

And, as well as some flexibility on your start and finish times, once you are trained and settled in the role, you can work two days from home a week.

Last year, the group exceeded their projected turnover and now aim to reach £50m a lot sooner than they expected.

You'll be the main point of contact for the managers of your own contracts, attending regular meetings, providing financial support, and identifying and tracking opportunities and risks.

Dealing with different sites and therefore people of different levels, you'll have excellent communication and collaborative skills.

You'll produce management accounts to include budget and spend, revenue, overheads, and balance sheet with variance analysis.

And you'll be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).

Either is fine as long as you have experience in either project or contract accounting, and you'll understand people costs budget to actual variance analysis.
