Management Accountant

We are working with one of the UK’s most unique multi-service professional practices that supports a varied client base of internationally expanding companies from a range of locations around the world.

The firm specialise in supporting international organisations with setting up in the UK and assist with their continued growth and expansion, giving the opportunity to provide valuable advice and make a real difference to clients.

The business has experienced substantial growth over the past few years and so are now looking for a couple of new management accountants / outsourcing professionals to join their team in order to assist their extensive client base. The firm has managed to build a unique culture that is highly sociable, flexible and rewarding and there are opportunities for continued training, progression and development along with flexible working options.

Key responsibilities of this Management Accountant / Outsourcing role include;

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Work closely with more senior staff to provide accurate advice and support to clients.
• Prepare accurate financial reporting packages alongside monthly management reports.
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations across multiple currencies.
• Undertake and complete VAT reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with year end procedures and liaise with other team members.
• Oversee and support junior colleagues.

You

• AAT Qualified / ACA or ACCA trainee with prior experience in a similar role within practice.
• Strong IT and Excel skills and knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with a good attention to detail.
• Have the ability to manage own tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• The desire to progress your own accounting skills and knowledge.
