Management Accountant

Strand Hill are pleased to announce we are exclusively partnered with a renewables investment firm currently looking to grow their finance team through the addition of a Management Accountant as a result of sustained growth.

With investments including energy projects and energy transition companies, spanning over multiple countries and many technologies, much of the day to day operations and accounting will be outsourced. As such, this role will mostly be responsible for the quality of the management accounts and financial information produced. Roles and responsibilities to be expected include but are not limited to:

Reviewing and challenging the management accounts provided by external teams
Reporting at Customer Board meetings on the financial performance of the operational portfolios
Ensuring Investor Reports are complete with accurate information and commentary
Preparation of distribution forecasts and management of all distribution payments to fund
Answering queries on portfolios pertaining to the accounts/finance

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Newly qualified ACA/ACCA
Understanding of UK GAAP
Ability to complete and review consolidations
Experience of working with renewable energy investment assets
