Reporting to Head of Accounting

Reed Accountancy is working with a globally known and respected organisation, in their search for a Management Accountant to join the team. The main scope of the role is to assist the Head of Accounting and to maintain monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet, for multiple entities.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Producing monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Preparation of month end profit and loss
• Preparing reporting and review packs
• Posting journals
• Ensuring the general ledger reconciles to the monthly management accounts
• Performing regular balance sheet reconciliations and investigating reconciling items, explaining any variances
• Assisting in the annual audit
• Ad hoc duties as required

The role will suit someone who:

• Is part-qualified or QBE
• Possesses experience in a similar role involving management account preparation, balance sheet and ledger reconciliations, and reporting
• Has knowledge of multi-national companies
• Is a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business, and overseas
• Is able to work independently to meet deadlines and KPIs
