It's working at a firm of accountants that are setting up a specialised outsourced finance function; and they are looking for someone that can help establish and then grow the team.

In the short term you will be really hands on with helping to get the function off the ground; the work is already there and waiting - but you will work alongside the partner in shaping how the service is delivered.

Once up and running you will work closely with business owners to provide detailed management accounts and analysis so they are kept right up to date with the performance of their businesses.

You will be liaising directly with senior leadership teams and key decision makers; with the information you provide being pivotal in allowing them to make strategic business decision.

In the medium to long term you will then recruit and grow a team around you; taking an active role in finding the type of people you would want to work with and can underpin the standards you have set.

The next 3 years for anyone in this role will be super exciting; with loads of incentives and rewards in place to recognise you for your hard work.
