Management Accountant- Housing

I am delighted to support a Liverpool-based housing association that is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable, forward-thinking, and values-led organisation. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role is pivotal in providing insight and accurate information to strategically advance the organisation.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, which will include:

* Prepayments and accruals

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* Bank reconciliations

* Profit and Loss statements

* Reports on financial performance (KPIs)

* Budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis

* Cash flow forecasting

* Participating in budget meetings and providing assistance to budget holders.

* Ad hoc duties to support the Senior Finance Business Partner

Requirements:

The role requires a proven track record of working within the housing sector and experience in producing a set of management accounts. It is ideal for a candidate who is partway through their professional qualifications, such as CIMA or ACCA.
