Management Accountant Payroll

CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a very stable business based in Poole, Dorset, who are looking to hire a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.  Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will take ownership of management reporting for multiple entities within the group. There is also a significant payroll date collation emphasis to this position.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Oversee the internal payroll process in partnership with an external payroll bureau.
• Month end P&L reporting for multiple entities.
• Assist with the preparation of year end statutory accounts.
• Support the FC in maintaining financial procedures and controls.
• Assist the wider finance function with some elements of transactional reporting when required.
• Additional ad hoc project work to support the wider business.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential.
• Previous experience managing a payroll is required.
• Experience completing month end management accounts is also required.
