Management Accountant - Qualified

Location:  London, Hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office

Salary:  Up to £55K + Excellent benefits & Pension

Our client is an established consulting firm with ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with experience working in a management accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills to gain more exposure within a diverse finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with completion of month-end processes, including preparing accrual and prepayment journals, and reconciling income and WIP.
• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, taking ownership of specific cost lines to provide variance analysis.
• Provide monthly commentary and present financial results to business area leaders.
• Analyse and report on key business performance drivers to identify trends and opportunities

Key Skills & Experience required:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
• Good knowledge of current accounting and reporting standards
• At least 2 years’ experience in a management accounts position or similar role
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Oracle fusion or a similar ERP system is highly desirable
