Working for a high calibre Finance Director, this Management Accountant role will receive fantastic mentorship and development, with a clear path for career progression. You will be focusing on Stock and COGS, and therefore someone coming from Retail/ Manufacturing, or a tangible product business would have a real advantage.

This role will be fully remote, but we are keen to seek someone in the area with the Finance Director and wider finance team being local to Manchester. This role will open doors as you progress in your career and is a fantastic opportunity to excel.

Salary: £50,000
Location: Fully remote, with the Finance team based around Greater Manchester

Main Duties:
• Preparation and analysis of COGS and update expected COS for forecast analysis.
• Provide accurate and timely management reporting to assist to business stakeholders.
• Produce month end and year end journals.
• Prepare management accounts.
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and board packs.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.

Person Specification:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working in a Stock focused role is essential.
• Experience working in a fast paced, and ever-changing business is essential.
• Excellent experience in development processes and controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Strong problem solving.
