Management Accounting Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:

• Production of Management Accounts, Cashflow forecasting and VAT returns.
• Bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, liaising with the transaction processing team as required to resolve queries.
• Identification of and preparation and posting of general ledger journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll journals, fixed asset journals and all other required GL adjustments.
• Maintaining fixed assets registers, processing fixed asset events such as additions, disposals, revaluations, depreciation, and reconciliation of the fixed asset register to the general ledger.

The successful candidate will

• Have experience in management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Preferably have working knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
• Ideally have strong knowledge of the range of cloud accounting software and associated Apps
• Demonstrate a passion for building client relationships and being a key team player
• Ideally be part or fully AAT qualified
