Management & Financial Accounting

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Management & Financial Accountant based in Edinburgh (exceptional flexible/hybrid working) paying up to £60,000, 25% bonus potential and benefits.

The Role

This position will report into the Commercial Finance Manager, and it’s a perfectly balanced role between management & financial accounting. The key components will include:

Management Accounting

• Business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs to influence decision making
• Preparation of monthly management accounts & ensuring robust month-end close
• Financial and performance analysis - KPI’s, variances, revenue etc.
• Budget and forecasting
• Ensuring robust month-end close

Financial Accounting

• Supporting with statutory accounts & returns
• Feeding into year-end close and annual audit
• Balance sheet reconciliations & integrity
• Liaising with transactional finance - AP, AR, Treasury, Banking

The role is based in Edinburgh with exceptional hybrid working (only 1 compulsory day in the office per week). The position will also offer:

Candidate Profile

• Strong management accounting experience
• Strong financial accounting experience
• FP&A exposure advantageous but not essential
