An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a well-established construction company based in Leominster as a Management Trainee within their Commercial Department.

You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of commercial functions, working on diverse construction projects while developing the skills needed to progress into a senior commercial role.

The Role

Working closely with experienced commercial professionals, your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with procurement and buying activities

* Supporting quantity surveying and commercial administration functions

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors

* Assisting with cost control and project budgeting

* Preparing and reviewing project documentation

* Supporting commercial reporting and project valuations

* Attending occasional client meetings and site visits

* Developing a thorough understanding of commercial processes within the construction sector

This is primarily an office-based role, with opportunities to visit sites and meet clients as part of your development.

About You

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and career-focused individual who is eager to learn and develop within the construction industry.

Ideally, you will have:

* A background in construction, whether through education, employment, apprenticeships or practical experience

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Good numerical and problem-solving abilities

* The ambition to progress into a commercial management role

* A full UK driving licence

* The ability to commute reliably to Leominster
