Manager

Exciting opportunity for a Manager who is a qualified Accountant, to join a long-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.
This prominent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients. From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves on offering their clients a well-rounded service.
This role will give you long-term career progression opportunities to Senior Manager and to Partner if you wish to do so.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Complete and review VAT returns.
• Work with junior members of the team to assist in their training and development.
• Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.

To be a successful apply for this Manager position, ideally you should meet the following:

• Have at least 5+ years’ Practice experience in a relevant role, having previously worked as a Manager or similar, in Practice.
• Can be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
• Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.

What’s on offer?

• 32 days annual leave including bank holidays.

• Salary from £40,000p/a to £45,000p/a.
