The Manager, Financial Analysis provides strategic financial advice and support to business units across the organization. Through the direct supervision of a team of Financial Analysts, the Manager ensures that financial implications are fully assessed and incorporated into recommendations to the Director, Financial Services, senior leadership and Council, and that financial transactions are accurately reflected in the City’s financial records.
The Manager provides leadership and oversight in areas including operating and capital budgets, forecasting, financial analysis, business case development, development charges, debt financing, grants and reserves, contract negotiations, and major capital projects.
A professional accounting designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is required.
