Job Description

IQ EQ Group is committed to the highest standards of legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on integrity and protecting its global reputation. The Group Risk & Compliance (GRC) function supports the Board and senior management by delivering an integrated risk and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations and enabling the effective execution of the Group’s strategy.

The Manager, Group Financial Crime Compliance plays a key role within this framework, contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Group’s Financial Crime Compliance and Risk Management programmes in line with the evolving risks

Working closely with the Group Head of Financial Crime (GHFCC) and global stakeholders, the role supports the development of robust controls, promotes best practice across jurisdictions, and helps ensure that employees understand and meet their financial crime prevention obligations.

What you'll do

  • You’ll support and enhance the Group’s Financial Crime (FC) risk management and compliance programmes across money laundering, terrorist and proliferation financing, sanctions, bribery and corruption, fraud, and tax evasion, ensuring alignment with regulations and best practices.

  • You’ll lead the development, maintenance, and governance of Financial Crime policies, Business Risk Assessments (BRAs), industry risk assessments, and key risk registers, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, escalation, and remediation of emerging risks.

  • You’ll oversee client risk assessment tools, screening systems, and training programmes, partnering with internal teams to ensure effective implementation, data integrity, and strong Financial Crime Compliance culture across the Group.

  • You’ll drive horizon scanning, regulatory interpretation, and internal communications (alerts, forums, and blogs), translating evolving Financial Crime laws and requirements into practical controls and framework enhancements.

  • You’ll bring proven second-line compliance experience, strong regulatory and Financial Crime expertise, risk management and register oversight capability, and a track record in policy development, training delivery, and embedding risk-based compliance frameworks globally.

Qualifications

About you

 

  • You hold a degree in Law or Financial Regulations (e.g., LLB, LLM, or Law with Finance/Banking specialization).
  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in a financial services environment, ideally within a second-line Financial Crime compliance role in a large, multi-regulator group.
  • You demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English, enabling clear communication and reporting.
  • You possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • You have strong technical skills in drafting procedures and training materials, data review and analysis, report writing, and issue management.
