With ambitious plans for the future and an exciting new phase of product launches, the business is now seeking a strategic, commercially minded leader to help shape and implement a bold vision for growth.

The Role

As Managing Director, you will define and execute commercial and operational strategies to ensure long-term success. Your role will include setting clear targets, driving continuous improvement, managing operations, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful commercial leadership within the manufacturing sector, with experience in driving profitable growth and operational transformation. They should be degree-educated in Manufacturing or Engineering (or have equivalent experience) and demonstrate strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and financial awareness. Expertise in high- and low-volume manufacturing methods and operational excellence techniques is also essential.

The candidate should be a positive and emotionally intelligent leader with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach suited to a growing business. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships internally and externally are highly valued. A results-driven mindset, combined with integrity, innovation, and organisational excellence, is key.
