Managing Director – Near Bath (Manufacturing Company)
Salary: Up to £100,000 + Bonus + Company Car
Location: Office-based near Bath, Somerset
Travel: Occasional overseas travel required

Reed Finance are excited to be working on a retained basis with a small manufacturing company based near Bath, recruiting for a Managing Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a UK business that is part of a growing international group, known for its innovation and market expertise.

As Managing Director, you will provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership, driving the continued development of the UK business and shaping its future in collaboration with the international parent group, while retaining a high degree of autonomy.

• Lead and develop the UK sales force, e-commerce platform, and high-level customer relationships.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, business events, and group board meetings.
• Full P&L responsibility, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Drive lean manufacturing strategies and operational excellence.
• Oversee product development and integration to enhance market offerings.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO 9001 standards.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role ideally within industrial manufacturing.
• Strong strategic thinking and hands-on operational expertise.
• This role would suit an ambitious, up-and-coming candidate looking to take the next step into a Managing Director position.
