Managing Director

We are working with an industrial manufacturer based in Huntingdon who are looking for a Managing Director. This is a full-time, office based, permanent position.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Defining and executing the company’s long-term strategy

* Identify new market opportunities within the sector

* Managing a small and diverse team

* Lead business planning, setting targets and conducting performance reviews

* Supporting sales, marketing, and engineering teams

* Acting as a technical lead for product design

* Ensuring solutions meet customer specifications and industry standards

* Acting as a technical escalation point for customer requirements and bespoke projects

* Monitoring market trends and competitor activity

* Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are upheld across the business

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience in a senior leadership or MD role within a technical B2B environment

* Technical background from working within a small to medium OEM

* Experience managing P&L and business performance metrics

* Ability to operate in a small business environment with ability to balance strategic and operational demands

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Degree or qualification in engineering, preferably in Electronics or a related discipline
