The MD Analytics will be primarily responsible for Reporting to the Global Chief Operating Officer for Analytics, the successful candidate will be accountable for accelerating the development and execution of strategic global initiatives enabling differentiated outcomes for Aon.The role requires the candidate to demonstrate an understanding of business needs, develop strong stakeholder and client relationships and balance local with global requirements. Working in collaboration with key stakeholders will be key to success. About the Role Your impact as a MD Analytics: Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Your knowledge and expertise: Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to determine and prioritize analytics strategiesKey member of the global working group focussed on developing a Next Generation Event Response Platform which will differentiate Aon in the market.Responsibility for the successful development and deployment of an Industry Exposure DatabaseProvide support around Cat Modelling integrationDetailed understanding of catastrophe modelling and portfolio aggregation. Direct usage of vendor models (such as Impact Forecasting, RMS and Verisk) would be a distinct advantageKnowledge of market requirements around event response with a focus on both the hazard and vulnerabilityA commercial mind-set with the ability to balance strategic needs with delivering operational objectives. Salary and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
