Managing Director - Hotel

FRS are recruiting a Managing Director for a Hotel group with ambitious plans!

The hotel caters to a diverse clientele & has an impressive array of amenities including a comprehensive spa / wellness centre, a reputable restaurant and bar, full service gym, swimming pool & large events / conference facilities.

Your role within the business will be to assume full responsibility for the hotel’s strategic leadership, operational excellence, commercial success, and talent development. Working closely with the Management Groups executive team, you will drive the hotel's continued position as a market leader while positioning it for future growth and opportunity.

The business are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional with a strong background as a General Manager or Managing Director in full-service hotels or resorts. The ideal candidate will excel in dynamic, commercially focused environments and possess a genuine passion for people and performance.

General Duties Will Include

• Define and implement the hotel's long-term strategic vision and goals
• Align hotel objectives with broader group strategy
• Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities including expansion & partnerships etc
• Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments & supporting your line managers
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality guest experiences
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting alongside the Finance leaders within the business
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the hotel’s senior leadership team and broader staff
• Champion a positive organizational culture and employee engagement
