This programme offers hands-on experience and valuable exposure to high-level financial advisory work, providing interns with the opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Summer Interns will begin with a week of comprehensive training, providing you with the resources and guidance to contribute to live M&A projects from the start. You’ll then join a team working on a real project, where you’ll have the chance to be involved in all aspects of an M&A transaction. You’ll be supported throughout by your team and a dedicated ‘buddy’ to help you navigate your role.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Performing financial analysis and assisting with valuations
- Contributing to industry research
- Assisting in the preparation of confidential information memoranda and management presentations
- Preparing confidential information memoranda and management presentations
- Supporting senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation
- Participating in the due diligence and closing process
- Developing a solid understanding of M&A processes
- Penultimate year students enrolled in full-time study, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
- A clear interest in building a career in Financial Services
- Exceptional academic record
- Knowledge of accounting and finance, along with business understanding
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Confidence with numbers and the ability to analyse data effectively.
- Prior experience in M&A, capital raising, or investment banking is helpful but not essential
