Assistant Vice President – RMB Clearing, Mandarin speaking - What You'll be Doing:

You will ideally have excellent understanding of the management of RMB clearing as an RMB Clearing Bank and a Direct Participant of CIPS, establishing policy and procedures, able to support the 1st LOD in discovering, detecting, documenting, managing and mitigating risks.

You will ideally be experienced in managing regulatory reporting related to RMB clearing, managing regulatory change projects; including but not limited to the upgrading of RMB clearing related systems and will be experienced in designing and developing the RMB clearing service alongside assisting with the marketing.

1. Be fully aware of and implement RMB Clearing Bank and CIPS Direct Participant requirements
2. Formulate, review and update RMB clearing and CIPS management policies and procedures
3. Implement the risk control requirements related to RMB clearing business and CIPS
4. Monitor and manage RMB Clearing Bank and CIPS operational incidents
5. Responsible for RMB Clearing Bank and CIPS related regulatory reporting within required timelines
6. Ensure full compliance with the latest CIPS and RMB Clearing Bank rules and regulations
7. Analyse RMB clearing and CIPS activities, identify relevant risks and document
8. Assist 1st LOD to discover, detect, document, manage and mitigate RMB clearing and CIPS related risks across a full range of risk types
9. Prepare and manage questionnaires and survey responses for HO, CIPS and Regulators
10. Manage the RMB Clearing Bank working group across the bank; implementing KPIs related to RMB Clearing
11. Design and develop RMB clearing service, assist relevant departments with the service and management for participating banks and the marketing of RMB clearing service
12. Engagement in RMB clearing and CIPS related projects and service development
13. Collaborate with relevant teams to manage the whole life cycle of the upgrade of RMB clearing related systems
14. Collaborate with relevant teams to provide business statistics and reporting for MI purposes
15. Escalate to management of RMB Clearing related issues

Assistant Vice President – RMB Clearing, Mandarin speaking - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

1. Educated to Bachelor's Degree (preferable in Finance, Economics, Accounting)
2. Specialist in risk management and financial products, services, process, especially in clearing and payments
3. Experience of Swift Payment Processing and relevant global Payment Schemes
4. Awareness of relevant legislations such as Consumer Duty, FCA and PRA Regulations
5. Solid experience of Swift payment processing and knowledge of international payments
6. Knowledge of SWIFT Payment messages in both MT and MX format (ISO20022)
7. Awareness of Risk and Controls - Relevant 3LoD knowledge
8. Awareness of Sanctions policies
9. Experience of writing policies, procedures and training materials
10. CIPS Payment Processing and relevant global Payment schemes
11. Experience of building / testing / implementing SWIFT payments systems and project management
12. Relevant professional qualifications preferable
