M&E CAD Technician

Solution Search are currently assisting a busy M&E Contractor, that requires an experienced M&E CAD Technician.

You will be responsible for producing accurate and coordinated Mechanical and Electrical drawings for residential projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with Design Engineers and Project Managers, you will ensure all drawings meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.

* Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for Mechanical and Electrical building services installations.

* Develop layouts for HVAC, public health, lighting, power, fire alarm, and security systems.

* Coordinate M&E services with architectural and structural drawings.

* Amend and update drawings throughout project lifecycles.

* Prepare schematic and installation drawings in accordance with project requirements.

* Assist with BIM and Revit modelling where required.

* Ensure drawings comply with current industry regulations and standards.

* Attend design and coordination meetings when necessary.

* Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.

* Liaise with engineers, contractors, architects, and developers to resolve design issues.
