M&E Contract Manager - Projects

A fantastic opportunity to work for an established building services business who are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E Projects background. This is a permanent position based in North East Kent, paying a salary of £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week and is primarily office-based, with occasional travel into London for site visits and client meetings.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong Mechanical / M&E Project Management background, ideally with 5+ years’ experience, and be looking to take the next step into a senior Contracts Manager position.

You will oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Supervisors while working closely with the Commercial, QS and Procurement teams.

Projects include M&E works across education sites and commercial environments, so strong commercial project delivery experience is essential.

Relevant experience includes:

* Mechanical / M&E project management

* Managing multiple projects from start to finish

* Commercial and financial project management

* Programme and project delivery

* Managing project teams and subcontractors

* Client and stakeholder management

* Procurement and commercial management

Skills Required:

The successful candidate must have:

* Strong Mechanical / M&E project background

* 5+ years’ Project Management experience preferred

* Proven commercial M&E project experience

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Experience managing multiple projects

* Education, healthcare or commercial project experience desirable

* SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely

* CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Enhanced DBS and BPSS required or willingness to obtain
