This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established mechanical and electrical engineering contractor delivering end-to-end infrastructure, asset management and facilities solutions across the commercial, industrial and public sectors. The business provides design, installation, maintenance and long-term asset management services on some of the UK's most critical infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to recruit an experienced M&E Estimator to support the tendering of complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects.

The Role

Preparing accurate mechanical and electrical estimates for infrastructure projects.
Reviewing tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
Producing cost plans, quotations and competitive tender submissions.
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to obtain accurate pricing.
Supporting value engineering initiatives and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Hybrid working with occasional travel to the South-East London office and project sites.The Person

M&E Estimator or Senior Estimator with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
Experience estimating infrastructure projects such as highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports, ports or other major civil engineering works.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
