M&E Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Technician

Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Overtime: Additional weekend overtime available

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Technician to join a large FM maintenance company, working on a large commercial site in Coalville.

This is a hands-on role within an established on-site engineering team, responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a varied commercial environment, including warehouse facilities, offices and associated building services.

The company is open to both mechanically and electrically biased engineers, with practical building services experience being more important than formal qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.

*

Responding to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.

*

Undertaking general mechanical or electrical building services maintenance.

*

Maintaining plant, equipment and associated building services.

*

Identifying faults and carrying out repairs where required.

*

Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

*

Working alongside the existing on-site engineering team to maintain the facilities.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a Building Services / M&E Maintenance Engineer role.

*

Mechanical or electrical bias considered.

*

Good all-round knowledge of commercial building maintenance.

*

Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.

*

A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance.

*

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Formal qualifications are not essential – relevant practical experience is the priority.
