We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanically biased Site Manager, to join our client on a laboratory refurbishment project near Southampton.

The project will be carried out within a live environment, so the remainder of the site will be operational for the duration. The work starts in the first week of November and will run through until the summer of 2027.

The different phases of the project will see the installation of AHU’s, ventilation, chilled water systems, pipework and associated electrical controls as our client refurbish some laboratory and office space within the existing site.

Although a Mechanical background is required, we are seeking a Site Manager that is comfortable with delivering some electrical and other associated works. A background in delivering works within a laboratory, manufacturing or industrial type setting is highly desirable.

Working for a leading contractor, there may be the opportunity to extend the initial contract as well as move onto other projects in the region following completion.

The site is located near Southampton, so you’ll need to be able to commute to the area 5 days per week. Some overtime and weekend work is available on this project.

SMSTS, CSCS and first aid essential.
