Manual Grinder

Manual Grinders required for day or night shifts with this established company that is being revitalised by new owners.
The roles involve working on Jones & shipman Universal Grinders to do internal and external grinding producing often complex or intricate aerospace parts.

Responsibilities:
- Operate manual grinding machines.
- Set up and operate Jones and Shipman grinding machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine grinding requirements and specifications.
- Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet precise tolerances.
- Perform necessary adjustments to machines to achieve desired specifications.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or processing issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency.

Requirements:
- Proven experience with universal grinding techniques.
- Competency in operating and setting up Jones and Shipman machinery.
- Strong ability to perform both internal and external grinding tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
