Manual Horizontal Borer

We are currently looking to recruit a Manual Horizontal Borer (DAY SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (06:00am - 16:00pm)
Pay Rate: £21 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines.

* Machining one-off and small batch precision components.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Working to tight tolerances and quality standards.

* Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures.

* Carrying out self-inspection using measuring equipment.

Requirements

* Previous experience operating manual horizontal borers.

* Ability to work from engineering drawings independently.

* Strong understanding of machining techniques and tolerances.

* Experience machining large or heavy components.

* Good attention to detail and quality standards.
